My Green Thumb

garden-2

Okay, I don’t actually have much of a green thumb.  I mean, I’m not the kind of person that kills every plant I own but I’m also no natural in the garden.  However, I’ve recently experienced a renewed interest in vegetable gardening since Brian and I planted a small vegetable patch and it’s actually going quite well.  It’s been exciting to finally use our compost for something and it is a special thing to pick something from the garden that we made ourselves and eat it for dinner.  To get our feet wet and practice some organic growing techniques, we started small.  We’ve got zucchini, oregano, beans, garlic and chives.
